Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions explain the rules for applying to and taking part in the BrondLab feature film externship.
1. Program Nature
BrondLab is a production-based feature film externship program. It is not a traditional academic course, diploma program, or classroom-based workshop.
The program gives participants hands-on experience in the making of a feature film.
Participants work in assigned departments and roles. They take part in real production work under professional supervision.
2. Eligibility and Selection
Admission to BrondLab is based on an application, screening, and internal evaluation process.
The selection process may include:
- Application form submission
- Personal profile review
- Role or department selection
- Skill assessment
- Interview or additional review, if required
Places are limited. Only shortlisted applicants will be offered a place in the program.
Meeting the basic eligibility requirements does not guarantee selection. Final selection is made by BrondLab.
3. Participation Requirements
Participants must:
- Commit to the full 30-day production period
- Be available for assigned schedules and production activities
- Complete their assigned department responsibilities
- Maintain discipline and punctuality
- Behave professionally throughout the program
- Follow reasonable instructions from mentors and production leads
- Work cooperatively with the production team
Failure to meet these requirements may result in suspension or removal from the program. No refund will be provided in such cases.
4. Code of Conduct
Participants must maintain professional and respectful behaviour throughout the program.
The following behaviour is not allowed:
- Misconduct or inappropriate behaviour
- Harassment or discrimination
- Disrespect towards team members
- Neglect of assigned responsibilities
- Violation of workplace rules or ethics
- Disruption of production work
- False or misleading statements about BrondLab or its productions
Participants must act professionally when working with industry professionals, public figures, production partners, and other team members.
5. Intellectual Property
Scripts, footage, edits, concepts, production assets, and final outputs created during the program remain the property of BrondLab and the official production team.
Participants may receive credit for their contribution. However, participation does not give them ownership of the film.
Participants do not receive ownership rights over the film, distribution, commercial use, or derivative content.
Production material must not be published, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written approval from BrondLab.
6. Payment Terms
Payments related to the BrondLab program are processed securely through Razorpay.
BrondLab does not store or have access to payment details such as card information, UPI credentials, banking information, or payment authentication data.
7. Program Changes
BrondLab may need to change parts of the program because of production needs or circumstances outside our control.
This may include changes to schedules, locations, mentors, workshops, timelines, or production plans.
Such changes do not automatically create a right to a refund or legal claim.
8. Limitation of Liability
BrondLab is not responsible for:
- Personal losses or damages
- Delays caused by external production factors
- Travel or accommodation costs
- Personal logistical issues
- Results outside the stated scope of the program
- Career opportunities or job placements
- Any guarantee beyond the participant's credited contribution
Participants take part in the program at their own responsibility.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
Any matter related to the BrondLab program will be subject to the applicable laws and legal jurisdiction of India.
