“One of the biggest parts of our film production journey was getting the right people for the film. While the team developed the story and script, I worked on the casting preparation and calls. On Day 10, we spent almost eight hours auditioning and finally selected the cast.
From preparing the characters to seeing the actors come alive on set, it was an incredible experience. Being part of the complete film directing process taught me so much. I’m really grateful to the Brond Lab team for this opportunity.”

Brond Lab’s third batch was a 25-day Feature Film Externship that took participants through the complete filmmaking process, from story discussions and scripting to casting, directing, cinematography, editing, trailer development, and music. The story was locked on Day 6, followed by intense auditions, scene development, and production preparation. The team then completed their first feature film shoot in just five days, transforming the Brond Lab office into a real production set. The journey continued through post-production and ended with the final trailer launch and convocation, giving participants the experience of seeing their film and their own names on screen.

From story development and film directing to cinematography, production, and performance, participants experienced every stage of bringing a film from the page to the screen. With auditions, rehearsals, location work, and an intensive shoot becoming part of the process, every scene demanded collaboration, problem-solving, and creative decisions on set. Every challenge, performance, location, and long shooting day became part of the journey through filmmaking and the making of a film.
